Hello we are Andy and Clare Watts. We moved to North Devon in 2010 to enjoy the life that can only be had living in the countryside. Whitelake Farm is a family run business, the farm was renovated into the amazing holiday cottages that you can now see today. There are two adjoining cottages plus the farmhouse. These are all set in the beautiful Village of Hiscott, with beautiful walks, views and an abundance of wildlife.
We work the farm, enjoy the countryside, have a number of pets including, dogs, chickens, ducks and horses. We live onsite and are able to ensure that your stay on Whitelake Farm is enjoyable and memorable. We welcome you to come to North Devon stay at Whitelake Farm and have a fantastic time.
About the Holiday Cottages
These adjoining barn conversions have been tastefully renovated and retain much of their original character and charm. Situated close to the main farmhouse, the barns are set within a beautiful countryside position and offer glorious views over the fields and beyond.
North Devon has so much to offer for couples and families alike. The wonderful sandy beaches at Westward Ho!, Saunton and Croyde are perfect for sunbathers and surfers or why not visit some of the local attractions such as The Milky Way, The Big Sheep or Arlington Court. For those feeling more active, The Tarka Trail is within easy reach and it's perfect for those wishing to take a long walk or a bike ride. There are also many wonderful pubs in the area. The closest is just 1.5 miles away, well within walking distance. If you've had enough of walking for the day why not just sit and relax on your own private patio and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the farm.
There are play facilities for the children. Outside there is an enclosed private lawn, gardens with patio areas, outside furniture and BBQs. There is ample parking. Bed linen, towels, electric and underfloor heating is included. Wi-Fi is available for just £10 per week. We ask that our guests smoke outside and have a no smoking policy in the properties. The nearest beach is just 7 miles away, with a local shop just 4 miles up the road. The Hunters Inn pub is only 1.5 miles away, well within walking distance.
